The Dixieland dance off was swinging last night and the crash on the levee sparked a get down of second line like bliss.
Let’s Go Let’s Go had the gathered in a gleeful hop and by the time Leave My Guitar Alone had finished slicing up the swamp the sun was down and our bliss merchants were firing stars, moons, lasers and love into ever head in sight. Have you seen the Seer? It’s something to Behold and our third one of the trip found our dancing shoes on tight, as directed.The setlist speaks for itself and nothing you see could have sounded any better. One addition was a blazing rendition of Music’s Hot that slid nicely between Cannonball and a Tomorrow Blues that for sure told the truth and a Try It Baby encore to send us out singing. We are headed up again tonight, both geographically and with the mothership of our Freak nation. Memphis awaits so when the amps click on in the New Daisy, find yourself a spot and join jubilee.
